01 FRAMING THE CHALLENGE

We’ve designed our approach to ensure it is participatory and inclusive at all times. We engage and involve everyone (not just the extroverts), and design around rhythms of divergent and convergent thinking.

Space is carved out (either up here in Byron Bay, or we can come to you) where you and your team can unplug, connect, step back to look at the bigger picture and take a deep-dive on things to get to the bottom of them.

We then apply guardrails, cognitive models and framing techniques that put the focus on determining the right question before finding the best answer.

With reunion and the right people in the room, together we can break through the complexity, frame the challenge, and reach rapid consensus… all in one day.


02 Values Based Design

Once we have framed the challenge, the next step in the process is to define the values that will inform our design.

These values will be co-developed and agreed by all stakeholders and they will need to be specific. We apply our expertise across myriad theories and approaches including (but not limited to) Integral Theory - Theory U - Disruptive Design - Human Centred Design - Permaculture Design - Systems Design - Transformative Leadership - Behavioural Economics - Design Thinking - The Transtheoritical Model.

The experimentation, prototyping and constant iteration demanded of these approaches is still deployed, but the values we agree upon up front always inform the process and ultimate solution.

We call this approach Values Based Design and we have found it to be more robust than a pure Purpose driven approach, as it considers individual sovereignty within the context of a flourishing community.


03 PURPOSE BUILT SOLUTIONS

When you join the reunion, you don’t just have access to our skills, you’re plugged into our network of professionals, activists and co-aligned organisations.

We design the specialist team ideally suited to the specifics of the project requirements (the Hollywood Model).

This team then works together as a collective that has been purpose built, and ensures focused, fast efforts, keeps overheads low and ensures each and every solution is activated by experts in their fields who hold at least 10 years industry experience.

Additional specialists are brought on board as and when needed.

In joining the dots, breaking down silos, combining resources and collaborating; together, we create a flywheel effect where the whole is much greater than the sum of its parts.
